Intro

My name is Nathan, I'm 21 years old, and I live in New York.

A couple months ago, I was diagnosed with Gastritis Antral- a medical condition involving inflammation in the upper part of the stomach, caused mainly because of H. pylori infection and chronic stress.

This path you are soon going to be a part of, is a way of treating this condition naturally, through lifestyle & identity changes.

I'm excited to share with you this journey I'm going through toward complete healing.

My Path

My story begins back in elementary school.

Throughout my school years, I struggled socially. I lived in constant fear of people who seemed hell-bent on making my life a nightmare every chance they got. Towards the end of elementary school, I was completely shunned for two weeks, and from first through ninth grade, I was under perpetual stress due to relentless bullying and harassment.

But like any challenge in life, those hardships shaped me into a stronger, more resilient person. The bullying fortified my mental toughness, and the social isolation, paradoxically, sharpened my communication skills, my courage, and my social abilities. More than anything, it taught me how to truly love and appreciate myself.

At 13, I was diagnosed on the autism spectrum and moved to a specialized communication class in high school. Later, I started my first job, working as a waiter at a coffee shop, though even there, I faced endless bullying and harassment from others.

After a while, I began a seemingly never-ending series of medical tests for chronic abdominal pain. After six months of searching for answers, I was diagnosed with Gastritis Antral - a condition involving inflammation or lesions in the stomach lining, usually caused by poor diet, H. pylori bacteria, chronic stress, or long-term use of painkillers. In my case, I believe it was a combination of the first three.

For two months, I followed my gastroenterologist’s orders and took Nexium, but it only made things worse—dizziness, headaches, and more stomach pain without any relief. I realized this wasn't the right path for me and started researching other options. That’s when I stumbled upon alternative medicine and discovered a world of healing I never knew existed.

I decided to go all-in on my recovery—I started acupuncture, drank specialized herbal teas, completely overhauled my diet, practiced meditation, and explored every natural avenue possible.

I’m still treating myself through natural methods, and while I know this journey has only just begun, I’ve already learned so much. I’m inviting you all to join me on this path as I share the insights and experiences I gain along the way.

I promise it’ll be an interesting ride.
